What we collect, and what we do not
Short version: no accounts, no personal data, no advertising trackers. The long version is below and it is genuinely short.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, so no names, emails, phone numbers or ID numbers
- No payment processing of any kind, ever
- No advertising networks and no behavioural tracking pixels
- No selling, renting or sharing of data, because there is none to sell
- No third-party scripts running in your browser beyond the site's own
What is unavoidable
Our host processes standard server request data such as your IP address and browser type in order to serve the page and defend against abuse. That is infrastructure logging, retained briefly and never linked to an identity by us.
If we add privacy-respecting aggregate analytics we will name the provider here first, and it will be a service that does not use cookies or build cross-site profiles.
Outbound links
When you click through to a bookmaker you leave this site and their privacy policy applies. The link may carry a tracking parameter identifying Edges as the referrer, which is how commission is attributed. It does not identify you to us: we never receive your personal details from a bookmaker.
Security
- The site is served over HTTPS only, with strict transport security
- A Content Security Policy restricts what may execute in your browser
- The site is entirely static: no database, no login, no server-side form processing, so there is no user data to breach
- Framing is blocked, MIME sniffing is disabled, and referrer information is minimised
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you. In our case the answer will be none, and we would rather build it that way than manage it. POPIA requests go to [email protected]. The answer will almost always be that we hold nothing about you.
Children
This site covers gambling and is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, and certainly not from minors.
