Edges Media (Pty) Ltd ("Edges", "we", "us") operates https://edges.co.za. We are based in Cape Town, South Africa. You can reach us at support@edges.co.za.

What personal information we collect

• Email address, only if you sign up to our newsletter.
• Anonymous usage data, pages viewed, links clicked, device type, country. Collected via Plausible Analytics (cookieless and POPIA-friendly).
• Affiliate click data, the operator you clicked through to and the time, used for affiliate attribution.

We do not collect your name, address, ID number, banking details, or any sensitive personal information.

How we use your information

• To send you the daily picks digest you signed up for (and only that, no ad emails).
• To understand which content is useful so we can improve it.
• To attribute affiliate signups to Edges so partners pay us correctly.

Your rights under POPIA

• Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
• Withdraw consent for any processing at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

We use cookieless Plausible Analytics, no tracking cookies are set by Edges. Operator sites you click through to may set their own cookies; refer to their privacy policies.

Data retention

• Newsletter emails: held until you unsubscribe.
• Anonymous usage data: aggregated, no PII retained beyond 12 months.
• Affiliate click data: 90 days (the conversion window most operators use).
